Fixed-Rate Deliveries

Able Courier maintains established rates for deliveries to all cities and townships in the greater Twin Cities metro area. Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott and Washington counties are all rated, plus parts of Sherburne and Wright counties. Within the rated area delivery prices are based on the time allowed and the distance from pickup city and zip code to delivery city and zip code.

Deliveries involving Minnesota locations not rated are charged $1.80 per mile from pickup to delivery, with a minimum charge of $30.00. Able Courier measures mileage using either Yahoo Maps or Mapquest .

This is an option to consider mainly when time is critical, as it quickly becomes quite expensive. If time is not critical, less costly alternative services include overnight delivery (such as FedEx ), 2- or 3-day delivery (such as the United States Post Office or UPS ) or, if counter-to-counter service is sufficient, commercial bus (such as Greyhound or Jefferson ).

Able Courier does not currently offer interstate delivery.
